If you’re a nail polish addict like me—I tend to paint my nails a different color every week—then you know the struggles of chipped, smudged, or fossilized (when you don’t allow enough time for your nails to dry before bed and they are all creased when you wake up) nails. But one of the worst struggles of all can be trying to get that once beautiful glitter mani/pedi off.
But use up all your polish remover and cotton balls no more because where there’s will, there’s a way! Follow this step-by-step from Allure and you’ll have perfectly clean nails in no time—
Step 1: Completely saturate a cotton ball with nail polish remover. Place the soaked cotton ball on your pinky nail and wrap it completely in aluminum foil.
Step 2: Repeat the process on each of your fingers and thumb—pressing down on the foils while the remover works its magic.
Step 3: Let sit for about five minutes, then slide the foils off to reveal glitter-free nails.
Step 4: Repeat steps on the opposite hand.
