Losing weight doesn’t mean starving yourself.
Eating foods that won’t have you keep making your way to the pantry is a good way to trick your body. To make your meals last longer, try these five foods:
Apples: Apples are packed with fiber and help to balance blood sugar. Other benefits include lowering risks of diabetes, reducing cholesterol and building a healthier heart. Try noshing on an apple before meals to avoid over eating and cutting calories.
Super Seeds: Sprinkle the seeds everywhere! Chia and Flaxseeds contain soluble fiber that helps to suppress hunger. They also provide an excellent source of omega’s, vitamin E, and B vitamins.
Almonds: Almonds are an ideal snack on the go! In just one handful (suggested serving size) offers a decent serving of fiber and monounsaturated fat.
Kale: You can throw kale into a blended juice, smoothie or breakfast omelet. So why choose kale? It’s low in calories, high in fiber with zero fat! Kale is also packed with vitamin K, iron and vitamin A.
Greek Yogurt: This food is so versatile; you can have it from breakfast or as a dip with your veggies! It’s also rich in calcium, high in protein and low in sugar, doesn’t get much better than that. Try adding Greek yogurt to your smoothie or for a snack with some berries and nuts.
