When I came across these Black Quinoa energy bars they not only looked delicious, but they are extremely healthy for you. Yes, even if they contain dark chocolate (drool alert). Aside from the yummy contents, this recipe is packed with protein containing all of the essential amino acids the body cannot synthesize from other sources. As an added plus, they are rich in essential amino acids and vitamins A, B2 and E and are an excellent gluten free alternative to other grains.
What’s the best part you ask? Well, they are super easy to whip up. With other ingredients including chia seeds and dates, you simply add the items together with a bake time of only 30 minutes!
