Zumba isn’t as intimidating as everyone may think. Some other dance or hip-hop classes may seem daunting if you feel like you have two left feet, but Zumba is a great stepping stone for beginners looking to enter the world of dance cardio. And, come on, it’s fun too!
Here are some reasons why you don’t necessarily need to have rhythm to be good at and love Zumba:
- It’s easy to go at your own pace – while experts can keep up with the sharp movements, beginners can move at whatever pace they can handle.
- The choreography is too difficult – the constant change of dance moves will keep you on your toes even if you’re not loving the tune or steps.
- You’ll build coordination – you’ll find yourself becoming more balanced and coordinated as you move especially with the instructors yelling “just keep moving!”
- You’ll leave feeling energized – after an intense cardio workout like Zumba, you’ll be feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.
