1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Where you’re from, your favorite hobbies,)
I’m from Bay Shore, New York. I am a Prestige Consultant for ULTA, and also enjoy graphic design, blogging and building websites in my spare time. I am a very fun-loving, beauty obsessed, female who prides myself in staying in shape for the long-term.
2. How did you end up joining at Lucille Roberts?
In 2007, I had just came home from my freshman year of college, and was planning on continuing my education locally for the following year. I had gained the freshman 15 (and then some) and was desperate to lose the weight. I had never joined a gym before, so I had decided to take a few classes at Lucille. After the first few introduction classes, I was hooked! And then, after a few months of attending all different types of classes, I had lost 20 pounds, and had felt AMAZING.
3. What are some personal fitness goals you have?
My personal fitness goals are to maintain eating healthy as well as incorporating more cardio into my workouts. Another goal of mine is to lose 10 pounds, which is why I will increase the amount of cardio that I do during each workout.
4. What do you think is the best thing about Lucille Roberts?
The best thing about LR is absolutely the classes. It is a ball of energy each time, and everyone around you is trying to get in the best shape of their lives as well, so it definitely is motivating.
5. What advice do you have for women who are trying to lose weight and meet their fitness goals?
The best advice I could give is to NEVER give up! Continue to maintain a healthy diet, and if you slip up, don’t kick yourself for it. I would also recommend trying to stay active in whatever you do; if you work in an office, try to walk around for a bit each hour. If you have a few minutes at home, try doing a few squats, or dancing to loud music for a little. Whatever you can do to move your body!
