October is finally here! The leaves have already started to change colors with the days seemingly getting shorter. We love fall!
Already having shared our Autumn fashion essentials, we thought we would share some of our editors’ favorite picks for this new season.
Barbara, our Social Media Manager, is a Long Island native, health nut, and self-proclaimed nail polish junkie. When she’s not busy tweeting and pinning for Lucille Roberts, you’ll find her in one of the bootcamp classes or running to stay in shape.
While Barbara loves summer time, she couldn’t wait for the cool weather to come so she could rock some of her favorite Autumn attire. Check out some of her must-haves:
Spice up your everyday jean routine with a little color!
“As much as I love funky prints on clothes, I always find myself gravitating toward solid-colored basics when it comes to fashion. The easiest way for me to add some “oomph” to an otherwise basic outfit is to wear color – and I’m loving all the deep, rich colors that come with fall. I’ll definitely be looking to get some denim pieces that are deep emerald green, mustard yellow, or maroon/oxblood red to jazz up my outfits.”
Lace Up Booties
Combat lace up boots have become increasingly popular the past couple years…
“I bought a pair of black lace-up combat booties last year and I cannot wait to wear them again this year! They have become a staple in my fashion wardrobe and go with most things in my closet. Because of their “rugged” feel, I like pairing them with more feminine pieces, like a floral printed top or a flowy skirt.”
Classic Trench Coat
Be ready for all kinds of fall weather with this coat.
“When fall rolls around, I immediately break out my classic light brown trench coat. Because the weather can fluctuate so much, this in the perfect “in-between-weather” coat – plus it never goes out of style. I always find that my trench coat pulls together any outfit, whether I’m going out to dinner or going apple picking on the weekend.”
