Natalie Portman knows how to stay healthy and fit!
Beautiful and smart, the Ivy League grad and Oscar-winning actress has come along way from her “Star Wars” days. With her upcoming superhero film, “Thor: The Dark World,” coming out in theaters this Friday, Natalie is in the spotlight and more radiant than ever.
But how does she manage to keep her body toned and fit?
Natalie has been a vegetarian since her preteen years and in 2009, she took it one step further declaring herself a vegan. Unfortunately, when she became pregnant she had to give up being a vegan returning to her vegetarian ways. We give her points for effort!
Sticking to her healthy diet, Natalie also keeps up a a fairly standard exercise routine that helps her stay in tiptop shape. She is a regular at the gym, even while she was pregnant. Now that’s dedication!
The busy mom often uses her workout time to spend with her husband Benjamin and son Aleph. They often hike around LA or she goes for a run with her husband. She is also a big yoga nut. Needless to say, Natalie makes exercising a priority and part of her family routine.
This starlit may be conscious of how she treats her body, she also believes that life is about doing what you love. “I like pleasure, I like joy. I’d never get to the point where I would starve or injure myself . . . I’m the opposite — when I’m hungry, I eat, and I always make sure I’m eating something delicious,” she said in a Vogue interview following the release of “Black Swan.”
She is the perfect combination of beauty and brains, but how does she do it?
Known for her glowing complexion and lucrative features, Natalie has graced Dior with her beauty in countless campaigns. She maintains a strict beauty regimen, never skipping cleansing and moisturizing treatments in the morning and before going to bed.
