With the end of summer approaching, and strawberry season coming to a close, I whipped up a batch of homemade strawberry jam.
Here’s what you’re going to need:
-2 pints strawberries
-1 packet no sugar needed pectin (I used Certo)
-1 tbsp lemon juice
Let’s get started:
1.Start by washing and trimming the tops off all the strawberries.
2.Using a potato masher, mash strawberries 1 cup at a time.
3. Combine with pectin and lemon juice and stir.
4. Pour into plastic containers and freeze for 24 hours, until solid.
5. When ready to eat, defrost in the refrigerator, then spread on your favorite snack.
