Recently celebrating her 45th birthday, Jenny from the Block has has an amazing year. From releasing a new album and hosting American Idol to nabbing two movie roles and being a mom, what can’t J Lo do?
So how does this hot latina stay fit and on track with her busy schedule? Find out below:
She stays positive: Celebrities are human too! The “Booty” singer has her off days just like the rest of us, but she tries to focus on the positive. “I really try to think positively,” Lopez explained to Elle Canada. “I try to do a lot of affirmations for good health and positive thinking to just get my mind and my spirit in the right place so I can face whatever it is that I need to face.”
Her healthy habits: Even with 16-hour work days J Lo maintains her enviable physique with a few healthful routines: she avoids cigarettes and alcohol, follows a sugar and salt-free diet, portion control, and strives to get at least eight hours of sleep a night.
She’s willing to sweat it out: Even when she’s not letting loose on the dance floor, J Lo is still willing to workout. She’s also become a devoted student of Tracy Anderson to her stay in tip-top shape. “I do my cardio and I do my workouts with the Tracy Anderson Method,” she says. Jennifer chooses to go to the gym even when she doesn’t want to—now that’s dedication!
Her healthy body image: She may have an enviable body, but the mom of two knows that’s not the case for everyone. Even with that, she won’t let the pressure to be thin get in her way. Even after giving birth to twins Max and Emme, she didn’t allow the struggle to lose the baby weight get her down—even if it took a whole year.
