Ugh, Mondays can be the worst. And if you’re like us, you wish you could just hit rewind on the weekend—if only!
So, to help nip your Monday blues in the butt, we’ve concocted an energizing smoothie to get put your gears in drive for the long week ahead. This fully-loaded, nutritious shake features ingredients like almonds, berries, chocolate and more.
The berries are packed with antioxidants, the almonds (soaking them is advised since it unlocks the nutrients quicker) have an assortment of vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber.
Here’s what you need:
- 1 cup preferred milk (almond is super tasty!)
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey to sweeten
Blend all ingredients together and get ready to take on your Mondays!
