Beautiful skin is desired by many but so hard to achieve. It doesn’t matter what type of skin you have—dry, oily, combination, etc.—we all know the struggle from fighting acne to finding the perfect moisturizer.
But what happens when you want the perfect at-home facial after a grueling workout? Follow these tips to find out what type of facial is right for your skin:
Dry skin – Especially in the winter months when the air is extra dry, your face will benefit from an oxygen facial. It helps boost hydration and circulation.
Combination skin – This skin type is always tough with it having different elements to combat. A facial peel is recommended and even a little LED light therapy wouldn’t hurt. The peel will help resurface the skin and therapy can minimize your pores.
Acne-Prone/Oily skin – If you’re having trouble controlling your breakouts or oily complexion, a deep cleansing facial is what you need. Typically ones that end in oxygen work best because it kills bacteria and decreases inflammation.
Sensitive skin – This type being extremely common, you’ll want to opt for a soothing facial over anything else. Go easy on the products and a calming mask. Try an arnica mask that will help decrease redness and balance the skin.
