Here are a few exercises you don’t have to be a fitness guru to master:
1. Squats – Forget about the leg press at your gym—squats are where it’s at! This move is extremely easy to perfect—you can even challenge yourself by using dumbbells. Your legs will be feeling the burn.
2. Military Press – If you’re looking to workout your shoulders and triceps, the military press is a good exercise to try. Don’t let the barbell scare you, you don’t have to add weight to it. Take it slow!
3. Plank Hold – Don’t the rumors about planks scare you off—it’s one of the best core workouts you can get. And don’t worry if you can’t hold the position for a long time, work your way up by starting at 30 seconds and go from there.
