Check out our favorite costume ideas and how to achieve the look:
Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby
Who doesn’t love the 20’s era? With all the hype the Great Gatsby received, dressing as Daisy Buchanan or just in 20’s attire would be a stellar costume.
Get the look: A ’20s flapper dress, glittery headband, and fur. Tons of jewelry.
Sandy Olsen in Grease
Many women choose to be Sandy from Grease. The most popular of her looks coming at the end of the film where she revamps her look.
Get the look: Black strapless top, leggings, leather jacket and red heels. A bouffant wig of blond curls.
Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries or Sex and the City
I’m slightly obsessed with Carrie Bradshaw, but then again who isn’t? Her style is effortless and unique! Try dressing up at Carrie in her teen years from the 80’s or her most up-to-date look from SATC.
Get the look: 80’s – Mix bright colors and patterns, and wear a tutu-like skirt and pointy high heels. Big crazy blond curls. SATC – Pink tutu and tank, strappy heels, and big blond curls.
Cat Woman
If you just can’t figure out what to be, a cat is always a good choice. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that, but it never goes out of style.
Get the look: Black leggings, a tight black top, black heels, cat ears and mask. Add some red lipstick to channel Selina Kyle from The Dark Night Rises.
Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Of Grey
If you’re up for something a bit more daring, try being Anastasia Steele. With all of the controversy going on about the Fifty Shades film, this costume is sure to please.
Get the look: A plum dress, pair it with sky-high heels, rock a gray tie, and loose locks. Try biting your lip every now and again too!
