But even though the sexy 42 year-old looks to get everything she wants, she definitely has to work hard for
it—especially her enviable body. Her trainer, Gunner Peterson, shared some insider tips with InStyle on how he helps whip Sofia into shape.
Squats, squats, squats! We know this exercise isn’t everyone’s favorite—next to burpees—but doing squats will help you tone that booty! Sofia uses this move to help her keep up her hourglass shape. “She keeps hips and glutes lifted and perfect with a variety of lunges and squats,” he says.
Stay motivated! Sofia may be famous, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t face the same struggles as us. There may be days when she wants to skip a workout or indulge a little more than usual, but it’s all about staying focused. “I write a new workout for every person, every day. It’s always fresh so neither the mind nor the body gets bored,” Gunner explains.
