Happy National Trail Mix Day!
Trail Mix is usually comprised of dried fruits, nuts, seeds, granola, coconut and a bit of sweet chocolate. It’s one of many easy, on-the-go snacks that’s still extremely good for you. It can also be something yummy—and healthy—to munch on at the office. This is because many nut options can help fill you up with just the smallest serving. Sounds good to us!
Here’s what you need for one of our go-to recipes:
- 3 cups nuts (We’re currently loving almonds and pecans, but you can put in your favorites!)
- ½ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ cup coconut flakes
- ½ cup dried cranberries or cherries
- 1 cup chocolate chips
