Healthy Recipe: Vanilla Almond Fig Granola Parfait with Blood Oranges

One of my go-to meals for breakfast is a parfait loaded with my favorite fruits and yummy granola, but sometimes I need a little help with my taste combos. Lucky for us, Keepin’ It Kind and Vegan Yack Attack came to the rescue with a to-die-for parfait recipe!

It calls for you to whip up some homemade granola, but if you don’t have that kind of time on your hands (like me and thousands of other women) you can substitute your favorite store-bought kind. But the real stars of this recipe are the dried figs and blood oranges pairing. Figs have the highest amount of calcium of any fruit and excellent source of dietary fiber. Blood oranges have the same super antioxidant power as blueberries so this duo is great to start your day with.
