Have you fallen off the fitness band wagon? Use these three simple tips to help revamp your diet and workout to achieve your fitness goals:
Diet: How are you fueling your body? Having a well-balanced healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean starving yourself; it’s all about moderation and making the right choices. Working out hard doesn’t give you an excuse to over eat. Make sure you are eating 5-6 meals a day that include a good source of fruits, vegetables, protein and fiber!
Not Varying Your Workout: If you find yourself bored with your workout chances are you’re not going to push yourself hard enough. As a result you will not get the most out of your fitness regime and may begin to avoid your workout all together! It’s important to switch up your workout overtime to avoid boredom and to continuously challenge yourself in order to reach your fitness goals.
Health: Sometimes no matter how hard you are working out the roadblock maybe something bigger like your health. Some examples of this may include chronic fatigue, depression, low thyroid, cortisol dysfunction and insulin resistance. Many of these health issues can be identified through your regular yearly doctor visits. Make sure to always ask your doctor questions in order to identify and correct the problem.
