Lucille Roberts’ Eats: Quaker® Real Medleys® Multigrain Cereal

The popular powerful  grain, Oatmeal is one food trend that will never disappear or disappoint! Known to combat high cholesterol levels, satiate hunger pangs, and regulate digestion as it is loaded with fiber. It is also the reason why it is considered a nutrient powerhouse.

The one problem some of us may face with enjoying oatmeal is the blandness of its original form. But the great aspect about the grain is its capability to adapt to sweet and savory flavors, making it a healthy versatile comfort food.

You can add spices like cinnamon, ginger, or fresh fruits like bananas, berries etc. Oatmeal can be also be flavored with “savory” spices as well. The grain gives you the option to get creative when making meals, just imagine it as it were rice.

As great as being able to flavor your own food may be some of us do not have the time to do this especially when we need a quick breakfast. Thanks to Quaker Oats Real Medleys Multigrain Cereal, these breakfast bowls are  jam-packed full of wholesome multi-grains, real fruit pieces and crunchy nuts. Taking a boring bowl of oats and turning it into a nutrition packed exciting bowl of hearty goodness.
