When it comes to losing weight, it seems like everyone has the perfect tip or trick to shed those extra pounds. But how do you know which will work and which will flop?
Truth is: few weight loss hacks actually work. So we searched through the years worth of weight loss promising myths to let you know which you should skip to reach your goal weight.
1. Skipping meals: First of all, this is NEVER a good idea. A recent study showed that doing so can actually increase your belly fat. Just don’t skip meals, people—especially breakfast!
2. Cutting out all “unhealthy” foods: Sure, if you think food qualifies as “unhealthy,” the normal thing to do is not to eat it. And while it’s smart to limit your intake of no-good-for-you-foods, fully eliminating entire food groups is a mjor no-no.
3. Consuming only liquids: We all probably have our favorite, go-to juice drinks (Green juice anyone?!), but an all liquid diet won’t satisfy your body’s needs. Don’t deprive your body of the necessary nutrients it needs!
