Nadia Murdock (NM): What are your tips for keeping a blowout looking fresh even after a workout?
Nelson Chan (NC): Use a dry shampoo first. Then you can quick-style hair using a blow dryer or flat iron again to give hair shape and form.
NM: What hairstyle do you recommend for working out that will keep the hair in place besides a traditional ponytail?
NC: Sock top bun, side swipe bun, ponytail, a low bun and braids are all good for working out.
NM: What are a few popular looks for hair this holiday season?
NC:Braiding will upgrade your look instantly. Try to bring a braid across the front of your head to create a fancy holiday look. Using a hair band is another easy fancy trick: curl hair first and put a hair band on top of your head, that is it! Last, a messy bun can never go wrong. Curl hair first, put hair in a side low pony then twist hair into a bun and pin it.
NM: For women who have very short hair (a la Halle Berry), how can they dress up their look for a holiday party?
NC: Short hair can be worn wavy, messy, slicked back, spiky and up, or just straight down forward.
