If you’re looking to calm your brain, relieve stress and mild depression, the Forearm Plank pose could be your best bet. It stretches the shoulders, hamstrings, calves, and arches while also strengthening your arms, legs, and core. Another plus: it could help prevent osteoporosis!
Here’s what you do:
With your elbows right under your shoulders and your palms flat to the floor, your back toes should tuck so the body is in one line from the crown of the head all the way through your heels. This is similar to the plank exercise you’re probably accustomed to.
