Here’s a couple stats for you: More than two thirds of American adults are overweight or obese and more than half do not meet the physical-activity guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While those numbers aren’t very good, the other third of Americans seem to be killing it with their fitness.
So what are these people doing that the others should be to stay fit and healthy? Below are just a few habits of what really healthy people are doing to stay that way.
- They are living a healthy lifestyle. Okay, so what does that mean? These people aren’t interested in that 6-week long diet or just trying to get in shape for spring break. They make eating right and exercising a way of life and a priority.
- They make it a competition. When you need a little motivation to hit the gym or remain on a healthy regimen, all you need to do is grab a friend or make it a group effort. There’s no better way to push yourself than with the help of your BFF trying to do achieve the same goal you are.
- They make it fun. Exercising doesn’t have to miserable. It can be a good time if you choose to make it so. Many people find exercising to be fun, especially trying to new things and succeeding at them.
