Are You Taking Your Weight Loss Goals Too Far?

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to lose a little weight—it’s your body! But when do you know you might be taking your dieting and fitness a little too far? We’ve got a few signs for you to look our for to diet the healthy way.

You work out every single day: Trust us, we’re all for time at the gym. But if you’re constantly waking up feeling extremely tired, achy, and still willing to wake up to go work out then something might be up. You might even find yourself flaking out on your friends or skipping out early from work to exercise.

Drinking more than 2 liters of water per day: We all know how important water is to our diets and a healthy lifestyle, but drinking more than you need in a single day could be damaging. Two liters is the recommended amount for people to consume in a day, but if you find yourself substituting water for actual food it’s time to rethink your strategy.

You haven’t eaten your favorite food in weeks: We all have that one food we just can’t go without for while (chocolate is a big one for us!). So when you find yourself never indulging in your go-to food, there might be a problem. It’s healthy to keep yourself—and your body!—happy with your favorite foods.

Your motivation is all about how you look: The way you see and feel about your body can have a huge impact on your appearance. If you’re not happy with your body, beating yourself up over it won’t help surprisingly. Rather than focusing on how you look, try thinking about how you feel and focus on the good you’re doing for your body. Don’t focus on the bad, it will only hurt your efforts.
