Best known for her insanely good dance moves and acting gigs in Step Up, Witches of East End and Supergirl, you may also recognize 35 year old Jenna Dewan Tatum by her killer physique and her marriage to every female’s man crush; Channing Tatum.
After seeing her ridiculously shredded abs competing with hubby Channing Spike’s Lip Sync Battle, it’s hard to believe Jenna is also a mother to 3 year old Everly. How is this possible!?
In the original interview with InStyle Magazine discussing her post baby body, Jenna says:
“I think women put so much pressure to lose the weight instead of focusing more on, ‘oh my god we just gave birth to a human being,’ which is actually insane and beautiful. Give it time, give it time. It will come off. ” So said and so it happened three years after giving birth, Mrs. Dewan-Tatum looks incredible.
She achieved her incredible body by living a happy and healthy lifestyle. Working, parenting, exercising and having fun included.
As for her workout regimen, there is no single workout Jenna swears by. Of course she sweats it out on the dance floor, but she also takes part in spin, crossfit classes with her hubby and weight trains. For Jenna, switching up her workout is important for her health goals, she even sweats it out by simply being a mom; lunging while holding baby Everly to put her to bed – GENIUS!
As for what she eats, Jenna is a vegan who enjoys oatmeal, smoothies, quinoa bowls and tacos. Overall, she eats pretty clean and favors tabbouleh; a chopped salad traditionally made with parsley, mint, bulgur, tomato, and scallions, topped off with olive oil and lemon juice.
