Major Key: Make it your mission to SWEAT 6 days per week.
You are probably having “insert shocked emoji” feelings right now, but do not be alarmed by the number of sweat sessions you are about to do for the summer. By simply switching things up, simply being active and simply enjoying life, you will wonder why you were hesitant about this routine in the first place.
In case you didn’t know, Lucille Roberts offers a wide range of fitness options. From Zumba classes (of course) to HIIT classes, working with trainers or going on your own beat on the treadmill, there are so many ways for you to switch up your exercises for the summer. This is great, but having so many options can be overwhelming. For a bit more structure, here is what you need to know:
- Twice a week get your heart rate pumping like no other. Spin, circuit train, running, whatever gets you profusely sweaty and glowing. Also, check our summer sweat challenge for more HIIT and cardio moves.
- Twice a week do moderately intense activity. This can include Pilates, jogging, going on the elliptical. Anything that will keep your heart rate up, but not too the point where you want to fall to the floor afterwards.
- Twice a week challenge your body and your mind by learning something new. Whether it is to dance, box, trying a new yoga move, or the TRX bands. Make it a goal to leave your comfort zone. Trust us, you will feel on top of the world when you do!
No matter how you plan your summer, just remember: Your body is made to be in motion. Keep it in motion.
